Resident Assistants (RA's)

International House employs Resident Assistants and Senior Resident Assistants as staff who assist in the general administration of the college and act as resource individuals, particularly for first year students.

Their roles include some of the following:

 Activities RA's have planned are:

International House Members Association (IMA)

All persons residing in International House are automatically members of the IMA. The Committee and the Chairman of the IMA are elected annually in accordance with the Association's Constitution. The majority of social, sporting and cultural activities within the college are organised and funded by the IMA Committee for the enjoyment and benefit of members.

Some of the events that they regularly organise are:

Orientation Week

Orientation week is held the week prior to the start of each academic semester.  It provides an opportunity for new residents to meet each other as well as the residential staff members.  This week includes activities, talks and tours that help new residents familiarise themselves with the college and university environment.

Sports

International House participates in the Inter-Collegiate sporting competition against Edwards Hall, Evatt House and Barahineban.  Trophies are awarded to the successful college in each sporting competition and points are awarded, which will then lead to the determination of the overall Inter-Collegiate Sporting Champion.

International House participates in the Inter-Collegiate Art Shield competing against Edwards Hall, Evatt House and Barahineban.
