
Edwards Hall employs Resident Assistants, Academic Assistants and Senior Resident Assistants as staff who play a vital role within the College. They are an information source for new and returning residents while upholding the College rules and values.
Their roles include some of the following:
The Academic Team which is lead by the Academic Coordinator provide many activities and programs through the Academic year. Edwards Hall has a mentoring program that links first year students with returning residents from the same or similar degrees for help, support and guidance. Other activities run by the academic team have been relaxation nights, resume building nights, information sessions on time management, study skills and note taking.
The rest of the Staff team organise various functions and activities for the College. These may range from small events like free rock climbing at the Forum or an excursion to a Knights game or Sydney shopping trip.
All persons residing in Edwards Hall are automatically members of the Resident Members' Association (RMA) the Committee and the Chairman of the RMA are elected annually in accordance with the Association's Constitution. The majority of social, sporting and cultural activities within the Hall are organised and funded by the RMA Committee for the enjoyment and benefit of members. The RMA Committee also acts as a major communication link between members of the Hall and the Head of College.

As part of the College tradition, Edwards Hall hosts a Formal Dinner at the start and end of each Semester. These are good opportunities to welcome new students and farewell leaving residents. College residents gather in academic dress (provided in each room) in the Edwards Hall Dining Hall. Other Formal Dinners held throughout the year are the Parents Dinner and Graduate Dinner.
