Why did you choose to study Psychology at Newcastle?
I chose to study at the University of Newcastle because of the Bachelor of Psychology program offered here. This program was the most appealing and appeared to provide a solid foundation in the area as well as strong job prospects following graduation.

What was the best thing about the Psychology program?
The best aspect of the BPsych was the depth of training provided in a large range of fields within Psychology, allowing for a well-informed decision to be made regarding the particular field I wanted to pursue my career in. Staff were helpful and friendly and the pre-professional courses provided a realistic setting to understanding life as a Psychologist after University.

How did you find the support and service of staff at the University?
Academic staff set challenging work but were most helpful in achieving the required goals. Administrative staff in the School of Psychology were extremely helpful and approachable.

Where are you currently working and what are you currently doing? How has your Psychology degree helped you in your professional life?
I am currently enrolled in a PhD (Psychology) program, studying in the specific area of Neuroimmunology.

What advice would you give to future students considering studying Psychology at Newcastle?
The program will be challenging in many areas but assistance is easily available if required.
