Location, closest university to home.
Additionally, the double math/science degree was offered.
What was the best thing about your degree program?
Interesting range of topics, with the possibility of learning more in a particular field.
Ability to work more closely with particular individuals in their area of expertise.
How did you find the support and service of staff at the University?
Very helpful, any problems were addressed quickly and personally.
Where are you currently working and what are you currently doing? How will your Physics degree help you in your professional life?
Not working yet in the field, undertaking additional study.
Problem solving ability has assisted in casual employment.
What advice would you give to future students considering studying Physics at Newcastle?
To do so, and find out early what additional study options are open to you, such as which people work in each field.
It is good to approach the academic staff and show interest as they may have something you can do, showing you a little into research etc.
