NUMS

The NUMS (Newcastle University Mathematics and Statistics Society) was established in 2009 and is set up to:

- Provide a social setting for and facilitate social interaction amongst students, staff of Newcastle University and the Mathematics and Statistics communities; and

-To promote the study and enjoyment of Mathematics and Statistics; and

- Free Math clinic for University Students. 12 -2 pm Monday to Thursday (not public holidays or University holidays or concession days). We will endeavour to have someone in room V110 (Mathematics Building) between these times and days. No appointment necessary just come along if you need some help with your Maths studies.

Campus Life

The University has a range of student organisations and campus service providers, which host a large range of clubs, societies and events. Students are encouraged to participate in some of these activities as part of a balanced approach to work and life.
