Research Snapshot:
- 12 members of the School are listed as a CI (Chief Investigator) on one or more active ARCD grants (2006-07), and a further 2 are listed as CI's on Carrick Institute grants
- In 2007, School staff produced 168 publications (up from 152 in 2006), consisting of:
- 9 books: 3 x A1, 1 x A2, 5 x A3
- 30 book chapters: 19 x B1 & 11 x B2
- 54 x C1 journal articles + 15 x C2; 22 x C3; 1 x D2; 12 x E1; 4 x E2; 19 x E3; 2 x F1
- 12 ARCDGs applications and 1 NHMRC application submitted in 2007
- 5 ARCDGs were successful
- On 2001-06 averages, 13 current members of the School were in the Research Services top publication tier for the University
- University Research Development Fellowships: 2
- Career Enhancement Fellowships for Academic Women: 1
- 27 RHD completions in the year to March 2007 - 13% of the University total
- In 2007, a School staff member was awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Supervisor of the Year, and another staff member received the University’s Award for Research Excellence
- Current School share of total University RHD enrolments: 11.2%.
