Master of Applied Linguistics
In 2004, I moved to Newcastle from Queensland after completing a Bachelor of Education (LOTE), in order to commence study towards a Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL). The Master of Applied Linguistics Program is very well organised and allows you to tailor the courses to suite your individual career goals.
Personally, I have chosen the TESOL major and am currently using skills studied through the Program in my position as a Coordinator for International Relations in Japan. As a part of the Program I have been able to commence research into English Teaching Methodology in Japanese Schools, a topic that is proving to be very challenging and stimulating. I have found the Program complements my undergraduate course while challenging me to work towards my future goals.
