Environmental Awareness
The School of Humanities and Social Science has adopted the following policies to reduce its environmental footprint:
- All course outlines and most printed material is produced on 100% recycled paper (and made available on the School website in electronic form)
- Staff are encouraged to switch off lights and equipment when they leave for the day and particularly over extended periods when the University is closed
- Where possible, printer cartridges are sent for recycling
- We actively participate in the University paper recycling program
We are open to other suggestions and encourage you to send us further ideas in this regard.
