School of Health Sciences Research Information Seminar
A successful research seminar was held on the 3rd of August, 2012 for potential 2013 honours students and research higher degree students during the UoN Research Week. Presentations were given by current and former honours and PhD students as well as the School of Health Science's Academics on their research specialty areas.
There are two types of honours programs in the School of Health Sciences:
1. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Nutrition and Dietetics

Embedded research component in 4th year of program
2. Medical Radiation Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Oral Health and Podiatry

Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) - a one year 'end-on' program
There are three levels of Research Higher Degrees available in the School of Health Sciences:

Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) - two years full-time equivalent
-
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) - three years full-time equivalent
-
Doctor of Health Sciences - professional doctorate
