Occupational Health and Safety

Occupational Health and Safety graduates undertake the preparation and implementation of occupational health and safety programs in the workplace. In many cases, students will be in positions of managerial or professional responsibility through which they are required to develop policies and strategies in response to the occupational health and safety needs of their organisations.

What will I study?

You will study topics including:

  • Occupational health
  • Occupational hygiene and toxicology
  • Law for Occupational Health and Safety
  • Current practice in Occupational Health and Safety

In addition, the University offers a Bachelor of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety in Singapore.

You will be challenged to extend your skills in raising awareness of Occupational Health and Safety issues and dealing with risks and dangers in the workplace. At Masters level, subject areas also include ergonomics and management and research subjects for Occupational Health and Safety.
