Help with your Studies
Help for students is available in many forms: from finding tutors and assistance with learning skills, to financial and social support. Specific enquiries about Degree Programs and Courses should be directed to the appropriate Program Convenor or Student HUB Officer as listed in Our Staff.
The Xstrata Coal Undergraduate Scholarships in Earth Sciences were established in 2007 to attract students with good academic records to pursue a career in Geology. Further, to provide tertiary students currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program (Geology major) with greater financial independence and the opportunity to complete their Bachelor of Science program. It is hoped that the provision of these scholarships will lead to more Geology graduates going into industry and help to overcome the employment crisis it now faces.
Students are also encouraged to review the full range of Scholarships available for students in both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework and in research higher degrees.
The primary location of online information and resources for our students is the FSCIT STUDENT GUIDE in Blackboard, which requires an active student account to view.
