Pedagogy in Practice 2007

Pedagogy in Practice 2007 was held on January 17 and 18 at Newcastle’s historic City Hall.  Pedagogy in Practice (PiP) 2007 was designed to support teachers, principals and other educators in sharing and exploring exciting developments in school pedagogy in relation to the NSW Quality Teaching model. In a new program structure, this year’s conference program enabled serious engagement with the challenges associated with implementing the Quality Teaching model and increasing equity.

A key feature of the new structure for PiP 2007 were Common Interest Groups (CIGs) meeting three times throughout the conference, allowing delegates to explore implications of keynote and panel sessions for School Leadership, Classroom Teaching, Early Career Teaching and Working with Schools stakeholder groups.
