QS World University Rankings The latest QS World University Rankings by Subject were published recently. The discipline of Education performed exceptionaly well, ranking 128 in the world and entered Australia's top 20.

Congratulations Dr Debra Donnelly, lecturer at the School of Education, has received her PhD from Monash University.

The University of Newcastle's Teachers' Visit Day will be held on Friday 19 July 2013 at the Callaghan Campus, Newcastle.
Academic staff of the University have volunteered to lead sessions that provide teachers in Hunter and Central Coast schools with:
- Cutting edge information likely to be of interest to teachers
- Information relating to the subject disciplines of teachers
- Fresh approaches to teaching and learning, including advances in technology.
