Computational and functional issues in computer-based ecological modelling frameworks

PhD Candidature:
I am working towards a PhD in computational and functional issues in computer-based ecological modelling frameworks. I am building individual-based models of the population dynamics of the black sea urchin, Centrostephanus rodgersii, to be used to assist in the determination of sustainable harvesting levels of this species. My supervisors are Dr. Ric Herbert, School of DCIT, Faculty of Science & IT, and Dr. William Gladstone, School of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Science & IT.
