Honours Year
An Honours degree allows students to pursue those aspects of their chosen discipline which most interest them. With this qualification, students develop their research and writing skills and are better equipped to pursue employment, Postgraduate Research or Postgraduate Coursework degrees.
Bachelor of Natural History Illustration (Honours)
Already have an undergraduate degree in illustration, graphic design, science or fine art? Wanting to develop your creativity and engage with the Australian environment? Our one-year Bachelor of Natural History Illustration (Honours) allows you to pursue your interest in illustration without needing to undertake another three-year degree.
Program Details
While Honours is available as an additional year for students in the Bachelor of Natural History Illustration, we also offer the Bachelor of Natural History Illustration (Honours) as a one-year stand-alone program. Unique in Australia and one of only a few programs of its kind worldwide, our Honours option accepts students from a variety of undergraduate backgrounds and is designed to encourage creative, innovative and scientific approaches to the visual interpretation of the natural world.
Entry Requirements
To apply, you must have completed a Bachelors degree or four year diploma in Illustration, Fine Art, Design or related Science field. You may also be requested to attend an interview and present a portfolio of artwork.
