Scholarships and Prizes

In addition to University-wide scholarships there are a large number of scholarships and prizes available specific to students studying in the School of Creative Arts. A number of these are listed below.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Tertiary Scholarships for Creative Arts

Pianists and Violinists!   $12,500 Scholarship for further study now open

 

The John Sinclair Cormack Memorial Scholarship is available for further study nationally in Australia or internationally.

 

Violin and piano students who have completed the University of Newcastle Bachelor of Music, or Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Arts, MPhil or PhD and are prepared to continue their music studies either overseas or nationally are eligible to apply. Applicants will need to submit a detailed account of study plans and a CV. Selection will be by audition and interview. Closing Date May 31, 2013
