StringTech Orchestra

The StringTech Orchestra focuses on building string technique as derived from the performance of standard string repertoire. (The name "StringTech" comes from the term "String Techniques" which is used to describe the placement of the ensemble in the Bachelor of Music program.)

Membership of the Orchestra are tertiary music students studying a music degree.

Recent performances including Dvorak's Serenade, Tchaikovsky’s Serenade and a selections of works by Mozart. The ensemble regularly performs at lunchtime concerts in the Conservatorium Concert Hall.
