Multicultural Night

On 7 November 2008, the post graduate Program for Students' Social Engagement (PSSE) committee organised a very enjoyable Multicultural night, which was held at University House, City campus.

Approximately 150 students and staff, some in their traditional costume, enjoyed a night 'travelling', via student and staff presentations and performances, to seven different countries. The audience erupted in laughter when volunteers (including some lecturers) were taught how to dance the Norwegian Polka.

Well known local guitarist, Guiseppe Zangari played an array of popular songs on his flamenco guitar, while everyone enjoyed a variety of international and local cuisines, including vegetarian and Halal dishes. There was even Spanish seafood Paella cooked in front of our eyes on the balcony overlooking the beautiful Civic Park.
