About the Newcastle Business School

Our Mission: To build and sustain a vibrant learning community that advances business knowledge and practice.

Newcastle Business School prepares our undergraduate, honours, postgraduate coursework and research higher degree students to understand the challenges facing business today and equips them with the knowledge, skills and attributes to build the Australian and global economies of the future.

Our programs are offered at Callaghan, the Central Coast, Newcastle City, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong and online.

Training the Business Leaders of the Future

At Newcastle Business School we emphasize both theory and practice in our approach to teaching and learning. We provide students with the knowledge and experience to meet the requirements of the modern workplace and international communities. Our students have access to a range of support mechanisms to facilitate academic ambitions, including Duty Tutors for a range of courses, Peer Mentors and Peer Assisted Study Sessions. These provide extra guidance in a less formal and more collaborative format, easing both transition and progression in tertiary studies. The student experience is also facilitated by our student associations; enriching education through professional development, work integrated learning, the Lucy program, networking and social events.
