Why study with us?
You can study Employment Relations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management. You can major in Human Resource Management in the Bachelor of Business or obtain a Certificate or Masters in Human Resource Management. Our courses are also accredited by the Australian Institute of Human Resource Management.
A number of postgraduate students studying employment relations run an active research program. Research interests include:

- Labour use strategies in low pay sectors
- Employment relations practices of multinational corporations.
Our staff co-author the leading textbooks in Australian Employment Relations. The partnership between research and teaching is an important objective of staff. They maintain active linkages with local human resource and industrial relations managers, and through this a problem-based teaching and learning environment is sustained. Staff actively participate in the Research Institute for Organisational and Institutional Performance.
