Dr Sarah Gordon

Gold Medal for Sarah - Last week (August 28th) Dr Sarah Gordon from the School of Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy received the Gold Medal for Early Career Researchers based on her poster and oral presentations at the 22nd Biennial Meeting of the International Society for Neurochemistry in Busan, Korea. Her paper entitled “Differential regulation of the two major isoforms of human tyrosine hydroxylase in situ” was selected by an international panel of judges.

Casual Tutoring - School of Biomedical Sciences & Pharmacy

Persons interested in serving as a casual tutor in the School of Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy are required to complete the Casual Tutoring Application Form and submit it via one of the following methods:-
  • Mail, addressed to: Tutoring Application, Teaching Support Unit, School of Biomedical Sciences & Pharmacy, The University of Newcastle, University Drive, Callaghan NSW 2380, or
  • Fax  to 02 4921 7903, or
  • Scan and return via email to Biomedsci-Admin@newcastle.edu.au
Applications will be distributed to appropriate course coordinators for consideration and all applicants will be contacted by the Teaching Support Unit to advise outcomes.  Successful applicants will be asked to liaise with the course coordinator/s for advice about their timetable and activities.
 
If tutors wish to serve in the course for more than one semester or trimester, all tutors will need to reapply for a Course when it is next offered.
