EstablishmentThis scholarship is available to support a program of supervised research relevant to the student's program of study in the School of Engineering, University of Newcastle, during the period January to April 2014
Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be entering a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science, or other approved program at the University of Newcastle
  • Be enrolled full-time
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Be a Permanent Resident or Be the holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa

Benefit

Two (2) scholarships are available. The total scholarship benefit is valued at $10000. This benefit is to be distributed between recipients on the basis of workload and recommendation by the Head of Discipline of Civil, Surveying & Environmental Engineering. The benefit allocations are payable in a lump sum.

Selection

Selection shall be based on research participation, and the recommendation of the Head of Discipline of Civil, Surveying & Environmental Engineering. Preference may be given to students who have changed in their degree program since the commencement of their studies at the University of Newcastle
