EstablishmentThis scholarship is available to support a program of twelve (12) weeks supervised research in the field of conversion of low materials to high value products during the period November 2013 to March 2014. Applicable to: Science I.T., Research, Vacation, Engineering, Catalysis and Process Development, Sciences, Summer Research.
Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must demonstrate a keen interest in process development which are aimed to minimise risk to human health and the environment. Students must be enrolled at the University of Newcastle, preferably in Engineering or Science and IT.

Benefit

One (1) Scholarship is available valued at $3,500.00 and payable in a lump sum.

Selection

The Scholarship holder is required to pursue a program of twelve (12) weeks of full-time research, starting November 2014 and ending March 2015 during the period, in the School under supervision of a member of academic staff. The program must be approved by the Head of School.
