Ionic Liquids Research Scholarships

Establishment

This scholarship has been established to provide opportunities for students studying 2nd or 3rd year chemistry with the opportunity to obtain research experience using ionic liquids to clean biofilms field. The student will be expected to conduct part time research during semester 1.

Applicable to: Chemistry, Science, second year, 2nd year, third year, 3rd year.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science program majoring in Chemistry
• Be an Australian Citizen or Be a Permanent Resident

Benefit

Two (2) scholarships will be offered. The scholarship provides the benefit of $1000 payable in 2 lump sum payments of $500. One payment will be made at the commencement of the research project with the final payment made upon conclusion of research project.

Selection

Selection of the scholar will be on the basis of academic merit, non-academic achievements, career aspirations and previous research experience.
