The Meegan Jones Memorial Scholarship in Biomedical Science

|Establishment||This scholarship was established in memory of Meegan Jones, a graduate of the Bachelor of Biomedical Science, and a PASS leader and tutor within the School of Biomedical Science and Pharmacy. Meegan died tragically at the age of 31 in February 2012.
Meegan entered tertiary education as a mature-aged student, and was not only an excellent student and graduate, but an excellent citizen who contributed enthusiastically and generously to the operation of the school and the wider community of the University of Newcastle.
This scholarship aims to support and encourage other young people like Meegan to excellence in their Biomedical Science studies.
Applicable to: Biomedical Science, mature age student, second year, 2nd year, third year, 3rd year, High Achievers.

One (1) scholarship is available, valued at $2000 per annum for the remaining duration of the scholar's Bachelor of Biomedical Science program.
