Unifood Group is the major food retailer on the University of Newcastle campus and is committed to providing assistance to the university's students. This scholarship was established in 2012 to support students who are experiencing financial difficulty and are committed to their studies.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in any year of any undergraduate degree at the University of Newcastle
• Be enrolled full-time.
• Not hold another scholarship
• Not have previously completed a degree

Required Documentation

If this documentation is not provided your application will not be processed.

After you have submitted your application, please print off the cover sheet provided and attach a copy of each piece of required documentation to it before sending in.

• A written statement (1-2 pages) outlining your career aspirations, commitment to study, and how the scholarship will assist you financially.

Benefit

Two (2) scholarships are available each year.

Each scholarship provides the benefit of $5000 per annum, payable in lump sum payments of $2500 each semester after the census date.

Selection

Selection of the scholar will be on the basis of the requested documentation.

An interview may be held if required.
