Royal Newcastle Hospital Graduate Nurses Association Inc. Undergraduate Scholarship in Nursing

Establishment

This scholarship was established by the Royal Newcastle Graduate Nurses Association Inc to assist 3rd year students in the Bachelor of Nursing program who are experiencing financial disadvantage.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor of Nursing
• Be an Australian Citizen
• Be a Permanent Resident or Not hold another scholarship
• Be the holder of a current Centrelink Low Income Health Care Card

Required Documentation

If this documentation is not provided your application will not be processed.

After you have submitted your application, please print off the cover sheet provided and attach a copy of each piece of required documentation to it before sending in.

• A verified copy of your current Centrelink Low Income Health Care Card. (copy signed by a Justice of the Peace)

Benefit

One (1) scholarship is available, valued at $1500 and payable in a lump sum payment after the semester 1 census date.

Selection

Selection of the scholar will be on the basis of academic merit.
