Establishment

This scholarship was established from a bequest from the late Margaret Senior to recognise excellence in the B Natural History Illustration Program. It will be awarded to the student who attains the highest grades in in their first year of the Bachelor of Natural History Illustration, and who is continuing on to study second year in this program.

Applicable to: Natural History Illustration, Fine Arts, Honours, High Achievers.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled or enrolling in your 2nd year of the Bachelor of Natural History Illustration program with University of Newcastle.
  • Be enrolled full-time (minimum 30 units).
  • Have the highest ranked Cumulative Grade Point Average in the first year of the B Natural History Illustration program.

Benefit

One (1) scholarship will be offered annually. The scholarship provides a total benefit of $5000. This will be payable following Semester 1 census date in the year of award.

Selection

No application is required for this scholarship.

Selection will be based on a review of grades following Semester 2 Fully Graded Date in the year prior to the scholarship offer year. The student completing their first year in the program with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for that year will be offered the scholarship.
