|Establishment||This scholarship was established in 2007 to support students entering the final year of the Bachelor of Surveying program or a combined degree program incorporating the Bachelor of Surveying at the University of Newcastle.
The Biennial Scholarship will consist of financial support during the final year of the Bachelor of Surveying or Bachelor of Engineering (Surveying) (Honours) or a combined degree incorporating the Bachelor of Surveying or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Surveying) and is encouraged to take up temporary employment (minimum one year) with the Land and Property Information in Survey Infrastructure and Geodesy, Bathurst after graduation.

The scholarship provides a total of $14000, payable fortnightly over the academic year.
Recipients of the scholarship will be invited to undertake industrial training with the Land and Property Information (LPI) over the summer vacation period prior to their fourth year of study. Temporary employment (minimum one year) will be offered with the Land and Property Information (LPI) in Bathurst after graduation. Payment for the industrial experience and temporary employment will be provided by the Land and Property Information (LPI) and will be at the appropriate market rate, determined from year to year by the Land and Property Information (LPI).
Please note that selection of the recipient of this scholarship will occur in August, 2015. However, payment of the scholarship benefit will not be made until 2016.
Selection of the scholar will be on the basis of academic merit, aptitude and commitment to surveying and personal qualities as demonstrated at interview.
