UoN Support and Facilities
The following central research support units provide expertise and resources for University researchers in approved animal and biomolecular research, mass spectrometry, electron microscopy, x-ray services and high performance computing.

Electron Microscope and X Ray Unit
research-EMX email list - This list is used to keep clients of the Electron Microscope and X-Ray Unit informed regarding events in the unit such as equipment breakdowns, completed repairs, new equipment installations and staff absences. In addition, it is used for circulating information relating to the EMX Advisory Group such as potential ARC LIEF applications
In 2007 the University formed the following two Advisory Groups which are responsible for developing an overarching strategic plan for the Research Support Unit (Advance Mass Spectrometry Unit, Biomolecular Research Facility and Electron Microscope and X-Ray Unit) including items such as potential ARC LIEF and University equipment applications.
