Centre for Health Record Linkage (CHeReL)

The Centre for Health Record Linkage (CHeReL) was established in 2006 to create and maintain a record linkage system for health and human services in NSW and ACT. The University of Newcastle subscribes to CHeReL and this subscription entitles researchers at the University of Newcastle to a quota of data credits.  There will be three rounds of applications for these data credits during 2008.  Key documents are available by following the links below.

General information on the Centre for Health Record Linkage (CHeReL) and its services is available at http://www.cherel.org.au.  The website provides details on the Centre, record linkage, privacy issues, information for researchers and contact details.
