The University has developed a number of initiatives to enhance the career profile of women and prepare women for executive and senior leadership roles. The Career Enhancement Fellowships are one such initiative aiming to support senior women to enhance their profile and reputation, increase their likelihood of promotion to Level D or E and help to remove barriers to women wishing to move into leadership positions.

In 2009 up to six fellowships are available to female academics (Level C and D).
