Academic and RHD Seminars important for scholarship and community engagement

The Tom Farrell Institute for the Environment is committed to furthering scholarship and community engagement in environmental matters to do with sustainable ecosystems and sustainable regions. As part of this commitment, the Institute occasionally hosts seminars by visiting academics or other specialists, often in conjunction with other research groups and researchers from the University of Newcastle. The Farrell Institute has also initiated a bi-monthly series of research higher degree (RHD) seminars  for final-year PhD students to present their cutting-edge research. In both cases, members of the University’s community of academic and RHD students and the general public, are welcome to attend.

Both groups of seminars are available by selecting the hyperlinks above.

If you are a member of the University community and wish to participate in this program, please contact Dr Karel Grezl on 49 215 700 or at Karel.Grezl@newcastle.edu.au in the first instance
