Research Seminars

The Tom Farrell Institute for the Environment is committed to furthering scholarship and community engagement in environmental matters to do with sustainable ecosystems and sustainable regions. As part of this commitment, the Institute occasionally hosts seminars by visiting academics or other specialists, often in conjunction with other research groups and researchers from the University of Newcastle.

The Farrell Institute has also initiated a bi-monthly series of research higher degree (RHD) seminars  for final-year PhD students to present their cutting-edge research. In both cases, members of the University’s community of academic and RHD students and the general public, are welcome to attend.

If you are a member of the University community and wish to participate in this program, please contact Professor Tim Roberts on 49 21 7037 or  tim.roberts@newcastle.edu.au
