Michael McFadyen
Michael McFadyen is the Manager of the NSW Department of Environment and Conservation Hunter Sustainabilities Programs Division.
Mark Glover
Mark Glover has a career in the Waste Management Industry spanning over 30 years. He has held leadership roles in many privately owned waste management organisations around Australia and in Brunei and Malaysia. He has experience in the public sector with the ACT Government, the South Australian EPA and the Western Sydney Waste Board.
In 1988, Mark founded Eco Waste Pty Ltd as a specialist consultancy and project management company aiming to deliver traditional waste management outcomes by the application of sustainable resource management strategies and protocols. His company specialises in the development of thoroughly researched strategic responses to particular waste/resource issues. It has the capability and resources to implement the facilities needed to deliver these solutions on a long term basis.
Mark currently holds a number of directorships in various private waste and resource organisations, the Waste Management Association of Australia and is a member of the Total Environment Centre sponsored Green Capital Program Advisory Committee.
Ron Wainberg
Ron Wainberg has key skills in the field of solid waste management gained from over 25 years experience in both project and contract management across Europe, Asia and Australia. He has a particular interest in resource recovery from waste materials and the development of waste management strategies for remote communities and is currently working as a consultant in these areas.
Previously Ron held the role of Managing Director of Biomass Energy Services and Technology, a company performing research and development in renewable energy and resource recovery systems from biomass. He has experience leading the development and commercialisation of the CRC's activities in Solid Waste, Site Remediation and Waste Minimisation. Ron has also served as an external director of Waste Service NSW (1989-1996).
Ron holds a BE and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers and IEAust and a member of the Waste Management Association of Australia where he has held a number of prominent roles. He is currently the National Knowledge Manager for the Association.
