Tom Farrell Silvers

The Tom Farrell Silvers is an association of volunteers formed to progress the Institute’s vision and mission.

We aim to make members' involvement with the Tom Farrell Silvers interesting and enjoyable. The focus will always be on doing things together FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.

Meetings

Our monthly meetings are called Tom Farrell Silvers Socials, to emphasise the importance of socialising.

These are held at 4.30pm on the last Friday of every month, excepting December, and are currently held in our Boardroom (Room V31, Maths Building) on Callaghan campus.

The gatherings will commence with a discussion of membership, correspondence and finances, move on to current and proposed projects, and conclude with socialising and hospitality.

Participation in Tom Farrell Silvers is entirely voluntary and may appeal to individuals from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. But all Tom Farrell Silvers will share a common concern: to help the environment that sustains us.

The Tom Farrell Silvers Annual General Meetings are held on the last Friday of June.

Procedures

Any Tom Farrell Silver may propose a project at a Silver Social, providing they are prepared to lead it for its duration.

Tom Farrell Silver Projects will be reported in the Farrell Institute’s newsletters and the annual report. As Silvers projects get underway, additional pages will be added to this site, detailing the progress of each project. Links to these pages will appear at the left side of this page.

The Silvers webpages are actually a small Silvers project, created and maintained by Bill Collison. Bill can be reached via his email address
