National Disability Coordination Officer
Kay Dean is the National Disability Co-ordination Officer (NDCO) for the Newcastle-Hunter Region. The NDCO Program is an initiative of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and is hosted by the University of Newcastle. Kay is located in the Special Education Centre.
The NDCO plays a valuable role in helping to increase access and participation rates of students and people with a disability in training, education, and employment, and in supporting professional staff across the sectors in their work. Please visit the website for information on the transition process and the schedule of regional activities, to join the staff or student email lists, and to contact the NDCO.
