Blindness Resource Center- a collection of links to web pages with information about blindness sponsored by the New York Institute for Special Education. Categories include access to the Internet, braille, deafblindness, eye diseases, vision resources, online information, organisations, research, university programs, technology vendors and web pages of the blind community
Center for Evidence-Based Practice - This is a US site that aims to bridge the research-to-practice gap in early intervention, early childhood education, parent and family support, and family-centered practices by conducting research; preparing practice-based research syntheses; and producing evidence-based products.

Project Salute - this US website offers resources on tactile learning strategies for working with children who are deaf-blind, or blind with disabilities. Project Salute provides procedures for service providers to document tactile strategies being used with individual students; discusses how it assists families and service providers in sharing challenges and successes in using tactile strategies; and disseminates findings of their research and information on tactile strategies.

Below are some useful online journal databases that deal with a range of early intervention topics. The databases can be accessed on-campus or off-campus.
