Seminar Series - include past seminars
The first PRC Seminar Series presentation was held on Friday 29th April. Dr Chris Lonsdale, from the University of Western Sydney made the presentation titled: "Increasing Physical Activity during Physical Education: A Systematic Review".
Immediately after Dr Lonsdale's presentation, Staff and Students presenting at the upcoming Annual Conference of the International Society for Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (ISBNPA) gave 10-minute practice presentations.
The first official Priority Research Centre (PRC) meeting was held on Friday 6th May in the Advanced Technology Centre Building (which will be the location of our new Centre).
An Overview and Structure of the PRC was given by the Director, Theme Leads and other PRC Members were introduced. Professor Maree Gleeson from HMRI also spoke about the new HMRI Building at the John Hunter hospital. An afternoon Tea followed, photos can be viewed in our gallery page.
