Fathers and Fathers and Families research resources and publications
The resources in this section promote the wellbeing of children from birth to eight years of age by engaging fathers and father figures in the lives of children.
Developed by the staff of the Engaging Fathers Program at the Family Action Centre, the resources have a focus on family and antenatal services, schools, childcare and early education institutions. The Engaging Fathers Program supports these institutions to better recruit and engage fathers and father figures with their children.
Fathers and Families research at the Family Action Centre covers father-inclusive practice, attachment theory, and the examines the competencies and capacity-building that support fatherhood.
