Competencies for staff working with fathers

Experienced practitioners were asked to nominate the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to successfully engage fathers in a variety of settings and programs. Their ideas were discussed at the workshops held as part of "Father-inclusive Practice Forum" held in October 2005, at The University of Newcastle, for male and female practitioners, managers, educators, and trainers in early intervention and family-related services throughout Australia.
