Welcome to the
Centre for Sustainable Ecosystem Restoration

The Centre for Sustainable Ecosystem Restoration (CSER) aims to bring together academics, researchers, students, community groups, industry and government to provide skills in all disciplines linked to ecology, and to address significant ecological problems.

Key activities at present range from mine spoil rehabilitation to forest-woodland restoration and reconstruction. These also include studies of the biology and management of threatened species and communities. In addition we are developing models and methods of determining restoration potential, dispersal potential, species migration capacity, sustainability and resilience at long-term study sites.
