RIDBC Renwick Centre
RIDBC Renwick Centre is an affiliated Centre of the University of Newcastle that is administered by, and located within, the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) in Sydney.
The Renwick Centre provides postgraduate coursework and research degree programs in special education in the areas of deafness and hearing impairment and blindness and vision impairment. There are also programs for professionals working with children with additional disabilities. Highly specialised coursework is offered in areas such as auditory-verbal therapy and orientation and mobility.
The Centre also conducts an extensive program of continuing professional education (seminars, workshops, conferences) for teachers of children with sensory disabilities and associated professionals.
All academic staff of RIDBC Renwick Centre are also members of CSEDS.
