Sino-Australian Business Research Centre
South China University of Technology and the University of Newcastle have established a joint Sino-Australia Research Centre. The Sino-Australia Research is an umbrella Centre, comprising initially the Centre for Institutional and Organisational Studies in the Faculty of Business and Law.
Under the umbrella of the Sino-Australia Research Centre the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Newcastle and the International Office at the South China University of Technology have established the Sino-Australia Business Research Centre.
The Sino-Australia Business Research Centre will collaborate with external private, Government and non-governmental sponsors to support research and teaching. Click here for more info.
Research Aims
- Comparative studies of the development of business, comprising firms, industries and the whole economy, including issues of poverty and regional development, in China and Australia.
- Assessments of the role of vocational and technical training, and training in universities, to the development of each country's human capital and the growth of business and the economy, including the performance of industries and firms.
- Analyses of the human resource management practices and policies to the performance of business, including firms, industries and the economy.
- Understanding the contribution of international firms, international business and international trade, including bilateral investment and trade, to each country's frowth and development.
