Residual Strength Behaviour of Chemically Treated Soils and its Application to Soil Erosion.

Research Abstract

This project aims at examining the effectiveness of lignosulfonate, an environmentally friendly stabilizing agent, to improve the erosion resistance and stress-strain behaviour of unstable soils. It includes developing a rigorous analytical model to capture the erosion rate of chemically stabilised erodible soil, incorporating the well-known shear strength parameters.
