Research Abstract

Aim of this research is to improve the existing knowledge of consolidation using vertical drains and vacuum preloading by incorporating the creep (long term settlement) parameters. When vertical drains and vacuum preloading is been used to improve the very soft natural soils and reclamation lands, the effects of creep settlement is expected to study in this research.
