Research Topic
Implication of PVD and Vacuum Preloading on Viscoplastic Behaviour of Soft Soils
Research Abstract
This research aims to future discover the effects of vertical drains and vacuum preloading on the consolidation of soft soils. The effects of this technique of soft soil improvement on degree of consolidation, coefficient of consolidation, and rate of excess pore water pressure dissipation are some of the important issues considered in this research. Capturing the actual flow rule during vacuum assisted radial consolidation is the other important parameter that is studied during the investigations.
