ArtsHealth Conference #1 2008

The inaugural ArtsHealth Symposium was a great success and featured a diverse range of speakers and delegates. Keynote presentations were given by Professor Jane Davidson (UK/AUS), Professor Graeme Sullivan (US), Professor Lizbeth Goodman (UK) and Oron Catts (AUS). ArtsHealth Conference #2 2009 - the image music text of pain and healing

The second ArtsHealth Conference explored conenctions between pain, healing and the arts. This year the conference program expanded from two days to two-and-a-half days and featured excellent keynote presentations from Dr Ellen Dissanayake (US) and Dr Angela O'Brien (AUS).  Alongside the conference program were two exhibitions by creative academics at the University of newcastle (at PodSpace) and Fine Arts students (at Watt Space Galleries).
