What can you see in RIMS?

In accessing RIMS you will be able to see the following information for your research:

Grants

  • Your history of grant applications and offers that existed in Callista (previous data management system) as at 30 September 2009. Each grant record is a 'Proposal'.
  • Grant applications and offers you have submitted to the Research Office since 30 September 2009.
  • Summary information on each Proposal, including application status.

Human Ethics

  • Applications you have made to the University's Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) for ethics approval since 1 January 2006. Each research project record is a 'Protocol'.
  • Protocols approved by the HREC prior to January 2006 where the research project remained active as at 1 January 2008.
  • Summary information on each Protocol, including application status.
  • A history of communications from the HREC since 1 January 2008 for each Protocol.
  • For submissions made to the HREC since January 2012, the history will extend to application forms and all supporting documents.

Animal Ethics

  • Applications you have made to the University's Animal Care and Ethics Committee (ACEC) for ethics approval since 1 January 2008. Each research project record is a 'Protocol'.
  • Protocols approved by the ACEC and which were current/active as at 1 January 2008.
  • Summary information on each Protocol, including application status.
  • A history of communications from the ACEC since 1 January 2008, application forms and supporting documents for each Protocol.
