Inductively-Coupled Plasma Mass SpectrometerICP-MS

The Inductively-Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) is widely-used in many industries as a major analytical tool for the determination of elements of the periodic table, especially at the trace level.  Applications for ICP-MS include the semiconductor, environmental, geological, chemical, nuclear and clinical fields as well as research laboratories in private, public and academic institutions.


Gas Chromatography-Mass SpectrometryGC-MS

Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) is a long-established (>50 years) and highly-trusted technique for the analysis of volatile analytes of low to moderate molecular weight.  Major applications for GC-MS can be found in the following industries: enviroscience, forensics and toxicology, sports medicine and drugs of abuse testing, petrochemistry, pharmacology, food testing, clinical analysis and counter-terrorism (e.g. explosives detection).


IR-MS

Gas Source Stable Isotope-Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) is a technique where the precise measurement of the ratios of naturally-occurring stable isotopes in a sample are determined.  Gas source IRMS instruments measure the stable isotopes of C, H, N, O & S.  The main application areas of IRMS are in the earth and environmental sciences.
