E-Health
Globally, there has been an increase in the use of technology across various platforms in all areas of life.
The eHealth cluster is currently in the establishment phase.
The draft scope of the eHealth cluster is to facilitate collaboration betw
een innovators from the fields of health and medical sciences, engineering, design, communication, information technology, education, mathematics, business, humanities, physical, environmental and social sciences. Cluster participants will include academic and professional staff of the University of Newcastle (including clinical and non-clinical conjoints), representatives from across the relevant industries, industry bodies, non-government organisations and government.
The draft cluster vision is to lead research, development, translation and commercialisation of health technology for clinicians, teachers , educators, and the general public.
